I would consider this a basic pesto recipe … basic but so tasty!!!
- ½ cup pine nuts
- 1 – 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cups fresh basil, washed & loosely packed
- ¼ – ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- sea salt, to taste
- Combine nuts, garlic & basil in a food processor and blend until coarse.
- Slowly drizzle in olive oil and scrape down sides of processor as needed.
- Add sea salt to taste.
